Terms of Service

These terms apply to CytoTour (cytotour.com), operated by Easyimate (“we”). By using the site you agree to them. Contact: support@cytotour.com.
The service
CytoTour provides interactive 3D biology lessons. Chapter 1 is free. The Teacher plan unlocks every chapter and 4K video exports without a watermark. We add and improve content over time and may change features; we will not reduce what a paid plan includes during a period you have already paid for.
Accounts
You must be at least 13 to create an account. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
Teacher plan, billing and cancellation
- The Teacher plan is a yearly subscription in US dollars. The price shown includes any sales tax.
- It renews automatically each year at the price of your subscription until you cancel. Early-bird subscribers keep the early-bird price for as long as their subscription continues without interruption.
- You can cancel at any time in your billing settings (the “Teacher ✓” button). Access continues until the end of the year you have paid for; there is no charge after that.
- Refunds: if you are not satisfied, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. Renewal payments are not refunded, but you can cancel at any time before your renewal date.
- Stripe is the merchant of record for purchases (shown as “Link” at checkout) and processes your payment under its own terms.
Error reports and rewards
- You can report an error in CytoTour's content from any lesson or at cytotour.com/report. Please include a source so we can check it.
- If we confirm the error against authoritative sources, we add one month of the Teacher plan to the account you were signed in with when you sent the report. If you already subscribe, your next renewal date moves one month later instead.
- One reward per confirmed error, to the first person who reports it. We decide whether a report identifies an error. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Using lessons and recordings
You may show CytoTour in your teaching and use videos you export from it in your own lessons and learning materials, including sharing them with your students and on your class or school channels. You may not resell CytoTour content, redistribute its data files, or present it as your own product. Watermarks on free exports must stay in place.
Accuracy
We verify the science in CytoTour against authoritative sources and cite them in the app, and we show on screen where a model is simplified or not to scale. Even so, we cannot guarantee that every detail is error-free. If you find a mistake, please tell us.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload or bypass the access controls of the site, or scrape its content.
Liability
The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; we will update the date above and tell account holders about significant changes by email. These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
